Choosing to keep your baby when facing an unplanned pregnancy is a frightening and lonely experience. Lourdeshouse Maternity Home is here to walk with you on this scary journey.
Lourdeshouse, is a safe haven for pregnant women in need of shelter and individualized maternity care. Through specialized treatment plans, residents are supported as they access medical care and community resources.
Lourdeshouse creates a homelike environment for up to 16 women and their babies. Residents who generally seek the assistance of Lourdeshouse may be a single woman with limited natural supports and are homeless, will soon be homeless or were recently incarcerated.
The program is a communal living environment where residents work together to prepare meals for the house and have rotating chores or responsibilities. Staff are supporting the residents to gain self-sufficiency with their medical care, finding future housing and employment.
