Support Catholic Charities Through EITC
Great news!
Paradise School was recently approved as an Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) to participate in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. Through the EITC Program, tax credits are available to eligible businesses that contribute to a Scholarship Organization, an Educational Improvement Organization, and/or a Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Organization. These tax credits may be applied against the tax liability of a business for the tax year in which the contribution was made.
Paradise School provides emotional and behavioral support to school age children. In partnership with Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12, the program develops academic and behavioral skills to help students return to their home school districts and continue their education. Educational services at Paradise School are provided by certified special educators. Support staff includes an instructional advisor, school psychologist, speech therapist, and occupational therapist. Staff members provide crisis intervention, supervision during break periods, social skills education, and coordination of school activities. The school’s 400-acre property includes a climbing wall, zip line, hiking trails, obstacle course, rope course, fishpond, swimming pool, baseball field, basketball courts, and weight room. Individual programming helps students reach their full potential.
Our eligibility to participate in the EITC Program is a new opportunity for us to generate much-needed financial support to continue the important work at Paradise School. If your business already participates in the Pennsylvania EITC Program, please consider Paradise School when you are making your contributions this year.
