Come and See – Virtual Broadcast – 11/30/2020
Here is the link for the YouTube broadcast on Monday, November 30th at 7:00 p.m. Please note the event will also be available to view on the channel anytime going forward.
Normally at this time of year, we at Catholic Charities are making plans to invite you and other supporters to join us at the Diocesan Center for our annual Come and See Dinner.
But as you well know, these are not normal times.
In fact, these times are unlike any we have ever experienced. The coronavirus pandemic has made things very difficult for us. It has affected our operations, our outreach efforts, and our fundraising activities.
Nonetheless, we are still planning on having a Come and See Event, even though it will be much different. Our event will take place virtually on YouTube on Monday, November 30, 2020 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Dr. Monique Ruberu, author of Rising with Roses: A Story of Renewal and Lessons Learned, will be our guest speaker. Her book delves into her faith journey which brought her from a broken marriage to an amazing and precious relationship with God. It also addresses many life lessons that she learned along the way and now shares with her patients on a daily basis.
Since we will not be limited by seating, this virtual event allows us to invite everyone interested in learning about the important work of our Homes for Healing. And even though anyone will be able to view our virtual event, it is important to note that the Come and See event is critical to our overall efforts.
Our fundraising efforts are behind where they normally are, and we need your support this year more than ever before. All proceeds from this appeal will support important to our work at Evergreen House, Interfaith Shelter, and Lourdeshouse.
Please show your support of these wonderful programs by making a secure online donation via the link below.
